Tower Center became a free Wi-Fi zone that offers to its visitors a high-speed surfing experience while using Wi-Fi within the Center.
Just before the start of the tourist season, Tower Center Rijeka - in cooperation with Hrvatski Telekom d.d. (Croatian Telecom Inc.) - has set up the first fast-charge point for electric vehicles in the City of Rijeka, as part of the project "Comprehensive fast-charging corridor network in Southeast Europe". With this installation, Rijeka has joined the map of smart cities that promote the development of e-mobility as a key concept of low-carbon mobility.
The first fast charging EV station in Rijeka will provide a first-rate charging service for both domestic EV users and the increasing number of tourists who are coming to Croatia on holiday by electric vehicles. The e-charging station, located on the rooftop parking lot of Tower Center Rijeka, can simultaneously charge two cars, with a total of three different connection types. The service is available 24/7 for all EV users. Charging takes around 20 minutes, the user experience is digital, and a non-stop customer support is also available.
The service is being charged. Opening hours are from 00:00 to 24:00.
This charging station is included in the national EV charging network system of Croatian Telecom Inc.
The authorization is possible via: T-RFID card and the PlugSurfing app.
You can buy a T-RFID card with a value of HRK 200,00 n the T-Center shops, one of which can be found on the 1st floor of Tower Center Rijeka.
To activate or end the charging session, place the card on the marked position to “log in” and follow the instructions that appear on the station’s display. The e-charging service fee is 2,03 HRK/kWh.
To begin charging, download the PlugSurfing app to your smartphone.
Open an account.
Run the QR code reader.
Scan the QR code visible above the selected connection type and follow the instructions that appear on the station’s display.The e-charging service fee is 0,29 EUR/kWh. The start of the pilot-project billing of this service was on 1st of July 2018.
